#FAWSL: Chelsea Women go level on points with leaders

Chelsea went level on points with Barclays FA Women’s Super League leaders Arsenal, Brighton are up to third.

A single-goal success put the Blues right on the Gunners heels but from a game more, with Arsenal hosting West Ham on Sunday.

Jessie Fleming scored midway through the first half, the Canadian international latching onto Ji So-Yun’s through ball.

Ji was denied a goal of her own by the crossbar, Villa keeper Hannah Hampton tipped an Erin Cuthbert effort onto the woodwork and thwarted Beth England from close range.
