29 Sep Kansas City NWSL agrees Saint Luke’s Health System shirt sponsorship
- Front of shirt branding to kick in for 2022 campaign
- Deal also sees Saint Luke’s become NWSL team’s official healthcare provider
National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) expansion team Kansas City NWSL have named the Saint Luke’s Health System non-profit hospital network as the club’s main jersey sponsor from the start of the 2022 season.
The Saint Luke’s logo will also feature on the back of the team’s current kits for the remainder of the 2021 season.
The wide-ranging deal will see Saint Luke’s Health System offer healthcare for the Kansas City NWSL players.
Activations around the partnership will be focused on gaining traction for research and innovation on cardiac care among athletes.
In addition, Kansas City NWSL and Saint Luke’s will host an annual ‘Heart Health Awareness Night’, as well as launching a ‘KC Kicks Cancer Night’ in 2022.
The health company’s employees will be offered special seating access to the team’s games and in-match experiences.
The expansion NWSL club is currently in its inaugural season and has recently started construction on a US$15 million new training facility at Riverside, Missouri.

“Especially the past year and a half, our healthcare providers have been the true heroes of our community, putting their own lives on the line to save the lives of others.
