In the 19th minute, a shot from Emily Kaufman hit the post, and in the 21st minute, an attempt from Erin Flynn was saved by Whitewater goalkeeper Leah Eisenbarth. Just two minutes later, Ariana Miles had a chance, but Eisenbarth made the play again. WashU had one final on-frame attempted in the 33rd minute, again from Flynn, but Eisenbarth made the save.
