SWPL 1

Celtic 2-1 Hibernian
Hamilton Academical 1-3 Glasgow City
Hearts 0-3 Rangers
Spartans 0-0 Aberdeen

Celtic beat morning leaders Hibernian with a dramatic stoppage-time strike by Charlie Wellings. Sarah Harkes had put Celtic ahead from the edge of the box midway through the second half, Colette Cavanagh levelling with a long-range effort.

City had to come from behind to win at Hamilton, whose Kirsty McIntosh scored direct from a corner. Priscilla Chinchilla was involved in all three goals for the visitors, as Jenna Clark levelled and Clare Shine turned the game around by the break, Aoife Colville then netting in the second half. Accies’ keeper Chloe Nicolson was taken to hospital after being injured but later released.

Rangers are just a point off the leading trio following a 3-0 victory at Hearts. Lizzie Arnot’s strike saw the lead at the break, Nichola Docherty netted soon after coming off the bench and Brianna Westrup hit home a late third.

Aberdeen were held to a goalless draw at Spartans and indebted to a stoppage-time save from Gail Gilmour, keeping out an effort by Becky Galbraith.
